The Junto Institute is pleased to announce a formal partnership with Startup Institute Chicago. Junto and SI Chicago both provide an environment for people to grow and improve - Junto for company founders and SI for individuals looking to work for a growing startup.
For several reasons, the Junto-SI Chicago partnership is a natural fit. Both organizations:
- have a learning-by-doing curriculum;
- offer a blend of business skills and emotional intelligence training;
- focus on real-world implementation; and
- believe that a strong company culture is a foundation for continued growth.
Emotional intelligence (EI) is still a new concept in the startup sector and the Junto-SI partnership allows a new perspective on it - seen both through the lens of the company leader and the employee.
As part of their new relationship, Junto and SI Chicago are planning two invitation-only events for fall 2015. The first is a town hall discussion for company founders and leaders, titled “The Struggle - Finding, Keeping, Managing & Leading Great People”. The second one is a new twist on job fairs, an event at which select startups will "pitch" their companies and job openings to SI Chicago graduates. If you are a founder or leader of a growing startup and want an invitation to either or both of these events, please click here.
Junto and SI Chicago are excited for the deepened engagement and look forward to the benefits the partnership can provide for Chicago-area startups, and SI Alumni and Students.
Startup Institute helps people find careers they love while startups find the talent they need. With full and part-time courses in web development, web design, technical marketing, and sales, Startup Institute offers training in the in-demand skills and mindset that early-stage companies need while helping individuals to build powerful professional networks in the tech ecosystem.
The Junto Institute is where startup leaders grow as fast as their companies. Through a nine-month, apprenticeship-based curriculum that taps into the wisdom of seasoned entrepreneurs and CEOs, founders become infinitely better at what they do every day: running their business and leading their team.
