One question we often get is how and why emotional intelligence (EI) training is part of the Junto program. Before getting to the answer, let's cover a couple definitions. 

We subscribe to the one for emotional intelligence as the ability to recognize and regulate the emotions in ourselves and others...

The "starting point" of one's emotional intelligence is our self-awareness: the ability to see how our thoughts and feelings are connected with our behavior.

This can't occur unless we also have the ability to label how we're feeling or what our mood is. And that's where the Emotion Wheel comes into play....

A company's core values are different from its vision and mission statements. The latter two tell us where the company is headed and why it exists; core values declare what is important to the organization, how its people behave, and what guides decisions.
