WHY THIS TOPIC:

While “ethics in business” may not literally be an oxymoron, discussions of ethics do seem to be rare in the business world. Many, if not most, of us view ourselves as ethical people. Yet every week brings news of another business scandal. If we want business to be a force for good more than for harm, we should actively incorporate ethics into our work.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
  1. A framework for categorizing ethical issues in business
  2. Strategies to encourage ethical decision-making and behavior in yourself and others
THIS MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF YOU ARE:
  • Interested in learning how your peers think about and apply ethics in a business setting
  • Willing to share your own experiences with ethical challenges at work
