What are you working on right now?
We’re working a lot on helping our clients use marketing techniques to help them find and keep the best talent. We call it talent marketing: developing a brand, and then using marketing to make sure the brand is communicated internally and externally to attract and retain better talent.

That I’m a billionaire investor.
What is your strength when it comes to emotional intelligence?
I have an ability to step outside myself, understand the emotion that’s happening, and have an objective perspective of how I’m reacting to it.
Finish the following sentence: "In my experience, ______________."
You can choose to be happy and it’s not dependent on any external force or situation.
What have you learned about yourself mentoring with Junto?
I’ve learned just how much I enjoy applying my marketing knowledge to helping small companies grow.
What are 1-2 leadership virtues you've observed or learned in your career?
How your expectations about someone will influence how well they perform. You can help people do better if you believe that they want to and that they’re capable. People often surprise you, and having high expectations of someone helps them do better.
What is your most memorable Junto moment?
When I saw Spikeball walk onto the stage of Shark Tank. I was on their mentoring team, I got to know them really well, and then later on I see Chris walking onto Shark Tank.
How would you describe your areas of expertise based on industry, market, and/or function?
My area of expertise is marketing: B2B marketing, and all aspects such as digital, lead generation, video, and branding.
What is your superpower?
I can stay awake all night or fall asleep in two seconds.
What is one book, blog, or podcast you recommend widely?
How to Win Friends and Influence People. I read it in college and it blew me away. The thing I like about it so much is that any book that I’ve read since then is that same information rehashed. It’s kind of a silly title but it’s ultimately something I think everyone should read.
