What is your superpower?
Wonder. I have wonder in myself, and I inspire it in others.
What is your strength when it comes to emotional intelligence?
I have a really deep foundation in myself and I stay grounded. I can deal with extremes in emotions in myself and others, and I maintain perspective because I have a deep understanding that we’re all part of something way bigger than ourselves and our emotions.
What are you working on right now?
I’m going through an inquiry phase. I’m working on Weave the People from the inside out, doing more consulting gigs where I spend time in the client’s environment to really understand how they deal with complexity.
What have you learned about yourself participating in Junto?
I can’t figure stuff out on my own.
How would you describe your areas of expertise based on industry, market, and/or function?
Technology and software development is my core competency. Recently, I’ve become more of a specialist in organizational development and psychology and communication in teams.
What is one book, blog, or podcast you recommend widely?
The Heart Aroused by David White - it’s about the preservation of the soul, how to keep our souls alive and vibrant in corporate America.
What is your most memorable Junto moment?
During the onsite class at Tasty Catering, Tom asked what structures we had in place to support our culture. That was a question that floored me.
What is something that's not on your LinkedIn profile that you wish was?
The books that I’ve read, the depths of reading that I’ve done.
