PREREQUISITE: Session 1 – 4

The key to becoming an emotionally intelligent leader is self-management: taking control and responsibility of your thinking, language, and behavior. Once you start building your self-awareness in a thoughtful way, you gain the power to exercise this control in an equally intentional manner.

In this session, you’ll learn about the most inspiring leadership trait, centeredness, or how to maintain and build greater emotional balance so that you can consistently show up as the person you want to. You’ll also learn about the keys to building a stronger achievement orientation based on your personal characteristics rather than trying to emulate how others motivate themselves.

This is session #5 of 12 total in the “Emotionally Intelligent Leadership” learning path.
