Only after you make progress with self-mastery can you begin turning your attention to other people. And just like self-awareness is the foundation of self-mastery, social awareness is the foundation of building healthier relationships as a leader and human, and represents the third level of emotionally intelligent leadership.
In this session, you’ll learn the first two building blocks of this level which are intricately connected: empathy and compassion. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of the different types of empathy, how you can leverage them to adapt to different personalities, and how this knowledge can help you take specific actions to not only become a more effective leader but also to inspire others.
