Coaching is different from training, mentoring, or managing, yet it can be a critical component of being a great leader. Coaching doesn’t have to be a mystical, mysterious skill. You can learn how to be more coach-like and create a more independent and connected team. In this session you’ll dive deep into the seven essential coaching questions and how to apply them in your role as a manager or leader. There will be a coaching activity during this session so come prepared with a specific coaching issue you’d like to address.

Michael Polydoris joined HUB International in 2020 as a senior consultant on the HRCS team. Michael partners with his clients on HR strategy, talent and performance management, ORG design, executive coaching and employee development, and helps companies build high preforming teams. Prior to HUB, Michael was an HR and management consultant for ADP, working with their largest national PEO clients. Michael has also held multiple director roles in HR, Finance, and Operations with several Chicago marketing and creative technology agencies. He has served on the board of directors of Chicago non-profits and is currently president of the board of the non-profit animal rescue, ALIVE Rescue.
