WHY THIS TOPIC:
This session will create a safe and vulnerable environment for all of us to begin to explore the influences that have formed our biases. It will help us develop clarity and vulnerability to explore what triggers us, and what causes us to express our biases in positive and negative ways. And it will give us hope through knowledge because we are all biased, we are not broken, and we are just human. Finding that common ground gives us all a starting point to work together to be more curious and to build more inclusive workplaces. With this awareness, we can approach our roles with more curiosity to improve outcomes in interviewing, sales and product development for example.
Ubaldo (UB) Ciminieri has a passion for helping all people matter. He has a clear perspective of the good, bad and ugly of how companies are being built. Surviving workplace violence and his Latino background help define that perspective. As such, he is an advocate for people’s safety and happiness. He thrives on helping people overcome internal obstacles to be better humans to themselves and others.
As an advocate he helps companies attract, hire and develop more inclusive and diverse talent. He speaks about the future of work and building inclusive companies. He is Co-founder and CEO of Breaking the Bias and Chief Marketing Officer for interviewIA, focused on transforming the hiring process using data-driven talent intelligence to drive business value, inclusion, and retention in the Healthcare industry.
