Workshop: Setting Standards as a Leader or Manager, with Raman Chadha

Virtually all managers and leaders have expectations of their team.

Some do an effective job at communicating them while others could be much better. However, expectations are subjective and personal, often changing based on the situation, person, or circumstance, and leading to frustration or disappointment.

Standards, on the other hand, are more objective and universal: they apply to all situations, people, circumstances, etc. and – rather surprisingly – don’t seem to trigger negative emotions as much.

In this workshop-style session, you’ll learn the three steps that are essential to turn expectations into standards, and begin the process of building management standards that are based on your style yet align with your company’s culture.
